Our Mission and Philosophy

St. Mary Magdalen School, in partnership with parents, parish, and community, seeks to nurture, develop, and educate the whole child by faithfully carrying out the example of Christ through education, service, and worship.

St. Mary Magdalen School strives to motivate each child to achieve his or her maximum potential by combining a strong, diversified, and challenging academic curriculum with religious education.

Growth in faith and moral values is made possible through the school's warm and caring environment.  At St. Mary Magdalen School we believe that a child's success is a total effort beginning with parental involvement, which is reinforced by the instructional as well as personal relationship between teacher and student.

Using Gospel values as a guide, students are asked to look within themselves to discern the truths to allow them to become active members of their communities.  St. Mary Magdalen School seeks to develop in each student a deep sense of personal responsibility towards all members of God's family.

Strong Foundation

St. Mary Magdalen School is a Catholic elementary school that has been offering students an exceptional education from kindergarten through eighth grade since 1953.

Dynamic Present

St. Mary Magdalen School is fully accredited by the Middle States Association. Enrollment is over 500 students with a classroom average of 25 students.

The learning experience is enhanced by a rigorous curriculum.  Students benefit from an updated learning commons, a modern science lab, and state-of-the-art technology.

A wide range of extracurricular activities is offered including National Junior Honor Society, Student Council, Math League, and Science Olympiad.

The parish Athletic Association, in conjunction with the Catholic Youth Ministry, sponsors a wide variety of varsity and junior varsity sports teams.
