Welcome to the world of art at St. Mary Magdalen.

In the coming months we will learn about various artists, including Wassily Kandinsky, Paul Cezanne,  Leonardo da Vinci, M.C. Esher, Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, Piet Mondrian, Henri Rousseau and Vincent Van Gogh.

Creative projects  will include paintings using water colors, tempera paints, acrylic paints.
Drawing lessons using shading. Various projects using construction paper. Beautiful religious
artwork of The Blessed Mother. 

Our younger students are learning about the color wheel, primary and secondary colors, warm and cool colors and monochromatic colors. Seasonal artwork is always a favorite.

 Our hallways are always decorated with your children's beautiful and creative artwork.
